Perception of str -1str -1 ap makes his str 2 a 0 (cant go negative) ![]() Human warrior has str 3 ap 0 and a great weapon. ![]() I'm just not sure if T9A has a distinction for base statline and attacks. Similarly, Blades of Darag was intended to cap all bonuses at +2, but since perception of strength (the relevant spell for DE) modified a models profile, and the cap applied to modifiers on the attack, it didnt work properly. Perception of Strength does not modify the strength of an attack, it modifies the strength of a model who makes an attack. These are not the same things being modified, so they are not applied together with the priority of modifiers. The distinction is strength/ap on a profile vs strength/ap of an attack. It's the wording on the blades that nullifies this. However, nothing here explains that a unit with str 3 ap 0, a greatweapon and -1 str/ap would have AP2.Įven in the ruling above you still take base str of 3 ap 0, add +2 str +2 ap and reduce -1str -1ap for a total of str 4 ap 1. Now with the new wording that cannot be done. In your previous question I would say the blades would have done +2 themselves and you would gain +1 from perception of str. Seems to me this is a restriction of the Blades of Darag itself.
